Well - I must be more exhausted than I thought because I posted my Sunday spotlight on my photo blog....and to be honest I am too tired to try to figure out how to move it over to here.  So just scroll down the side bar and check out our weekend antics on SuzaeReflections!

Ava Grace Jinah Forever Day #3

Yep - we left the dishes from last night right where they were.....

and went to celebrate Forever Day at the park.... 

"Aha....I have an idea momma...why don't we go to the park tonite!!??"

It was a fabulous evening....

And these 3 had a blast! 

Bee-bim Bop (yum!!) will have to wait for another night....

Cause the guest of honor had some crazy stuff to try...

Her brothers had a very excellent time too...

Ava got to open one of her special "gotcha day" presents.

We had so much fun shopping for these special gifts during our time in Seoul. 

This present was picked out by Daddy.

3 years ago today.

And our precious Ava.... has changed just a tiny bit....

Sunday Spotlight - Spring!

these guys make us laugh.  and make us very tired.

and before we know it Miss Raena will be dancing with them!

She is gonna be one beautiful baby....cannot wait to meet her!

Here is part of the reason I am so tired this weekend....Sam and I started painting his house!

Spring is here...and we are anxious to get his house all spiffed up on the outside this year!

Between all the birthdays and festivities (Happy St. Patrick's Day!)...

We have painted nails,

 And painted some more nails.

And flown some kites.

And got out the patio furniture.

And had our first hot dog roast of the year!

Plus raked some leaves and went to church and did a ton of laundry.

And vacuumed. 

And had a very busy fun weekend.

Sunday Spotlight - Birthday weekend!

Happy Birthday weekend...my beautiful daughter.

Who so much reminds me of my first daughter....

In so many many ways.

(seems like I have seen this look before about 22 years ago?)

hahahahhahha!

Such a happy girl...loves every moment of every day.

Thank you Aunt Barb & Uncle Jeff for our FAVORITE Alec birthday present - no doubt!!!

Grandpa Jim may not be feeling his best - but by golly he still gets on the floor to make sure he has plenty of hugs!  (Even if they are painful hugs - full force running and/or fighting.)

And in just a few days we met you for the very first time.

3 years ago.

Does not seem possible.....

4 years old

So hard to believe our little girl turned 4 years old today.

She had a fabulous day full of presents, parties, birthday princess dresses, yummy food and fun.

And she appreciated every second of it...because Ava makes the most of everything.

She has been planning this day for a few weeks. 

Last week the conversation in the truck on the way home....

Ava:  "hey Daddy, Alec, Ayden, can you do me a favorite?"

Can you guys wrap a present for me on my birthday....so I have lots of presents to open?"

She is so funny.

Tonite we started a tradition of going out to a restaurant for birthday dinner. 

The restaurant staff was kind enough to sing for Ava and bring her a cake and ice cream treat. 

She may have been a bit "startled" - but was absolutely pleased to be the center of attention!

And she thought her cake and ice cream were DELICIOUS!

Right now she is at a friend's house - who just so happened to be having a princess sleepover!

 (She thinks she will not sleep over....but was very excited to attend the party for awhile...as long as I promised to come back and get her!)

More parties to follow - you know how birthday weekend is!

They did it!  Absolutely a proud day for all of us.  And no cavities! YAY!
