Updates

There are so many things I need to document I'm almost overwhelmed.  But yet again just a few weeks ago this blog proved to be so important as a kiddo needed some life timeline information and all we did was pull up the blog and "tada" there it was!  And a gotcha day tradition of watching our videos...reminded me of exactly why I started this blog - to capture memories and moments that get forgotten.

So.  I will start trying to catch up on some wonderful moments we don't want to forget.

I feel like we have been in a whirlwind this year.  Not a bad whirlwind but one that makes you kind of dizzy and off balance.  It is my goal these next 6 months to put some balance back in place and find a way to simplify and calm our lives down. Not sure what that end picture looks like but it may be dome dramatic change - or it might be a combo of small changes.  But something is going to change.

The Clark family is gearing up for some huge changes too.  Selling a house...moving across the state....new jobs....fun vacations....so much happening and all of it exciting.  A trip to Disney last month was a memory of a life time.  Magic.  Raena continues to bring joy to each day with her singing and sweet ornery spirit. My littlest granddaughter is one of a kind! We just got to enjoy her for a whole week while mommy and daddy relaxed in Jamiaca.  She sings like a bird, is the best hugger Ever, and is a happy sweet beautiful funny girl with an intense fear of bugs. Lol.

The Liebler/Graham family is preparing for the celebration of celebrations!  Getting married!!!!  So excited that this strong little family unit is making it official this fall.  I can't stop shopping for it!  They are all settled into their darling little house and new jobs.  Korbyn has had a fabulous year in preK - keeping all of us totally entertained with her quick wit and her lighthearted spirit. My beautiful oldest granddaughter is beautifully unique! And also sings like a bird and got the most talented artist award at school!  So proud!!!!

Ayden spends his entire day with a ball in his hands.  Basketball, baseball, football. It's constant. And the dribbling is loud and scary in the house. But I let him do it cause this guy is amazing.  It's been a good year - 3rd grade has been good.  Puberty is going to be interesting - but I'm so proud of this guy and how much he has matured this year.  When you are an emotional person as Ayden is - with a crazy mom like me - life can be loud and big. But I think we both have figured out how to love each other well.  He makes my heart swell with pride.  And he makes me laugh with his quick wit and amazing insight.  And makes me wonder how in the world am I gonna keep this kid fed.  Still working on the belly issues - but better.  Overall the healthiest kid I have ever known.  Immune system of steel.  And so fun to watch in whatever sport is in season.  I gotta get some comfy chairs!

Ava is just a precious beautiful soul - with a contagious smile and a great sense of humor. Gorgeous as ever - she loves to be organized and wear cute clothes (which we have tons of thanks to Norah) and try new hair styles.  And with her gorgeous hair that is fun stuff. Ava loves playing soccer and softball and swimming. She is going to start piano lessons again too!  Ava's insightful observations are always unique and make us laugh!  Ava is tough tough tough and has endured a very strange oral surgery to remove two crazy teeth growing into her sinus cavity,  2 more brain MRIs and takes it all in stride.  NF1 is not gonna get this happy kid down.

Alec is happy, busy and loud. And darling.  But who would've thought my quietest baby would be my loudest child ever?  He is completely obsessed with LEGOS.  Completely. He follows instructions and builds masterpieces but also can use his imagination and create his own "creatures". He loves dinosaurs, reading, playing baseball, swimming and playing electronics. He has a quick wit and sense of humor that cause me to belly laugh.  He did well in 1st grade and worked "diligently" in speech.  Alec has a surgery scheduled this summer to remove a weird tumor/cyst under his tongue. None of us are looking forward to that two week recovery.  But we will survive and he will be a good patient if I bribe him with new Legos.

We are counting down the days to our biggest vacation adventure ever.  Flying to Florida!  Staying at our favorite Moonspinner for an entire week.  Cannot wait!!!!!

So- hopefully more blogging in my near future as I make a job change to what this family hopes is a big step to a better balance. More to follow on that as I transition through this last week in my current job.  I'm very excited and looking forward to less stress. Maybe I can even start cooking dinner again!!!  Lol.

I miss blogging....

I am missing many things lately.  Blogging being one of those.

I am going to make myself blog.  I'm going to focus on things I love.  Like these three.
Cause they say the FUNNIEST stuff these days.
And they are brave.
And strong.
And naughty.
And wonderfully loving.

I will be posting more.
There is too much wonderful happening in this life to not keep track of it.
I am getting OLD -
so I have to document how fun this life truly is because I do not want to forget even a moment.
