Let the Halloween festivities begin!
Busy fun weekend...
filled with soccer, pumpkin patches..
and Halloween parties!
We introduce...
our Winx Club Fairy Princess/mermaid
Our Mizzou Football Player...
who might just play for Mizzou someday!
Introducing our Transformer...
who refused to wear his expensive Iron Man costume..
because he is Alec.
And then there is Bacon and Eggs...
with their sidekick
Winx club fairy princess/mermaid.
LOL Shelby.
And this great photo taken by Ayden while Mommy was
busy painting faces.
More to follow...there were TONS of hilarious pictures
these past few days..
But Frankenstorm (Hurricane Sandy) seems to be messing with my internet..
so I am signing off for tonite!
We are praying for some very special people on the East Coast tonite...
hoping their huge generator keeps them
comfy and safe!

Fall
We have had a gorgeous fall - but have I had time to get my camera out?
Nope!
Much to my dismay - this is about the only shot I got of the trees in all their glory.
We have been enjoying the fall activities..
football being first on our list!
Lee caught two passes in this game...
but my camera was on my lap for both of them!
Saturday we painted and did some wiring at
Sam & Karyn's.
It was a gorgeous day...
Savana watched kiddos and Lee helped us scrape and paint.
I love days spent outside accomplishing "stuff"!

What's the worst thing that can happen???
Really...what is the worst thing that can happen...
during a weekend of anticipated fun?
The stomach flu you say?
Ummm..yes.
But we survived...
and my 49th year has begun with a weightloss program!
(Now if I can just keep up the momentum.)
Miss Raena was a complete joy to have while
Mommy and Daddy went
cruising!
Even with the stomach flu...
this little one is seriously a pleasure to have around.
She has a very, very big personality.
And will talk your ear off.
In her very own darling little language.
She is adventurous and fearless.
and all 4 kiddos at some point in time this week..
told me how much they missed Raena.
I owe a huge thank you to Sam and Karyn for totally
jumping in and helping us this past weekend.
Seriously - I have no idea how I could have survived without them.
As you can see Saturday morning started out awesome
with the 100th celebration of the City of Jefferson Fire District parade.
Over 110 firetrucks!
It was a little brisk outside...
and just perfect for a parade.
We all had a great time!
We were very excited to see
our very own Miss Sara driving a firetruck!
Saturday afternoon and Sunday are all a bit of a blur...
but Monday afternoon
(after Rae, Papa Shannon and Mimi Kim recovered)
we played and played outside.
October Birthdays are upon us - and I love this picture
of my mom and grand kiddos on her birthday!
Today we are planning to spend the day..
enjoying this gorgeous fall weather...
cleaning up all the summer "stuff"
and if all goes well..
making a quick trip to a PUMPKIN PATCH!
This by request of Mr. Alec James...
who is really anxious for pumpkin carving...
and Halloween.
Fun times!

The weekend and a HAPPY Birthday!
I had the absolute pleasure of snapping a few
(400 or so)
pictures of my handsome nephew
this weekend.
Amazing how time races by.
I remember him as a little fly away haired baby.
Who was always the happiest and pleasant child.
And now he is a young man...
Who is still happy and pleasant..
with a beautiful smile and dreamy eyes...
and one of the sweetest guys I know.
I'm very proud to be Aunt Kim...
to this amazing and talented young man.
Happy Senior Year Lee!
Make it a great one!
We also had the pleasure of a night out with Mom
(The BIRTHDAY GIRL!)
to see a fabulous acapella group perform at the Finke.
Home Free Acapella.
They are worth looking up!
Watched a little soccer...
which is always fun with Ayden.
He is fast and intense.
And he had quite the cheering crowd!
I leave you with this series of photos...
Which make me smile everytime I look at them.
Hope they do the same for you!
