Today was a day of celebrating the Dads we are so lucky to have and that we love so much...
but it was also a day of missing people.
So we relaxed together.
And reminisced a bit....
and celebrated.
We celebrated this Dad..
who has been through so much in the past 6 months.
Who is feeling better....and we are so glad.
We love him more than we can express.
This Dad has also had a rough few months...
so it was nice today..
to sit outside...and just relax.
And hang out together.
Love this guy so much!
Luckily I got to spend an hour or so yesterday
with this special guy.
Cause we sat too long on the deck..
and didn't make it to the lake
to celebrate there - darn it.
Sure do love my Dad...
so so much.
It was just such a nice day...
to enjoy the weather...
Investigating and enjoying the beauty
all around us.
(they thought the dots were ants!)
We saw this guy stroking across the grass
during lunch.
Lunch stopped...
and we had to go check out this
really big turtle!
So cool.
It was a good day.
A good day to celebrate.
We are a lucky bunch...
with some amazing Dads
to lead the way.
