Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve.  I love this day.
Today was a day of yummy food (turkey dinner with the trimmings) and presents at Grandpa Jim and Grandma Shirley's house!

A fun afternoon with loved ones.
Gifts opened with helping hands...
The snow was beautiful - perfect for snowballs.  The afternoon was relaxing (well as relaxing as an afternoon can be with 4 kids under 5!)  Grandpa Jim wasn't feeling his best - but rested a couple times and was able to join us for present opening.

Shea put up the Christmas tree - so we had a place to gather and open our gifts (thank you Shea!!!)

We ran home and changed clothes - and hurried into Christmas Eve services.  The kids looked so cute - and the  music and message were wonderful as usual.  The singing of the carols was a bit diminished by the temper tantrum thrown by Mr. Alec James Jeesuk during the acapella version of Silent Night.....but otherwise it was perfect.  (he really felt like he needed to hold a lit candle...and the mean mom said no)

The three excited kiddos feasted on a bedtime snack of cereal and milk and snuggled down to bed to wait for Santa to arrive!  (And the parents began the frantic wrapping.)

More Christmas Day adventures to follow!
