Relay for Life!

It was hot and sweaty at Relay for Life tonite...

but oh so fun to watch the kids get so excited about face painting and balloon animals,

snowcones, ice cream floats and seeing people they knew from school and church! 

Ava and Ayden made up their minds they were getting their faces painted

and waited in line 30 minutes...

patiently watching.

Ava knew exactly what she wanted.

Ayden did it (which surprised me actually)

 a little snake on his cheek...which he washed off immediately when we got home.

Alec was not interested in having his face painted...until we got home

 of course.

Ayden had his 2nd T ball game tonite.

He hit the ball once from a pitch!

But then proceeded to walk to first base. 

For some crazy unknown reason...

he refuses to run.

And he is fast as the wind.

But it ain't happening on the ball field.

I have no idea....

Super Dad holding both of his very heavy little kids...

even though his back kills him when he does this...

he still does it.

He had a fun morning at "Breakfast with Dad" at St. Paul's...

cause you know...

Ava is a "VERY GOOD DONUT EATER!"

(We do hear some of the funniest stuff these days.)
