Sunday Spotlight - the last weekend of June 2011

Lake Paradise Resort - a unique camping experience.

Close to Kansas City....and very pretty.

We will go back.

The pool was cool....a little aged...but very cool. 

but here is the most important reason for our trip.

Miss Rae is one month old! 

and more beautiful than ever. 

It was the perfect day for some slip and sliding.

Muggy and hot. 

 The boys were lovin' it!

But But check out how much she loves her bath.

And completely relaxes..

even when water is running full force...

 Erin had a craft project for them to work on today...Awesome!

We always have such a great time when we visit Erin and Aaron. 

Alec had to clean up some messes...

seems like he is always making some messes these days. 

and cleaning them up.

A great weekend.

Even though the kids were bickery on Saturday...

And we had to leave our camper to be worked on...

even though it is NEW.

It proved to us that we are campers.

And we have chosen the right vacation method

 for the next few years.

Cause it allows us to travel with all our paraphenalia....

and sleep in our "own" beds.

And visit our Raena Joy!

On a final note...

our kids are really learning their letters.

Ayden is learning to read...he truly is.
He was reading signs all weekend as we traveled.

Ava is sounding out letters and short words.

Alec....well he still needs a little practice!
