Vacation post #1

A little landscaping on Saturday...and some swimming of course!

A little racing and a night out with my boys on Sunday!

We were a little tired and a little dirty - but we had fun!

Today was doctor appointment day #1.

Ava was first with a "sweat test"...

which we thought would be painless...

but she would tell you...

it hurt.

and she did not like it one single bit.

But the results were good news....

And she dealt with it since she knew we were headed to "Going Bonkers" immediately afterward!

This girl had fun collecting her tickets! 

Everybody had fun! 

The parents have eaten yummier food - but it was nice to be able to just let the kids RUN around crazy. 

And watch them work their father into giving them more money for tokens!

Too funny!

The afternoon was spent on Alec...and his terrible nose and cough.

And after xrays and much poking and prodding...

it has been declared that he too has asthma.

But first and foremost he has a terrible sinus infection...

and some pneumonia in one lung.

I think we are still trying to get our arms around all the stuff we need to do

these next few weeks to see if we can get him feeling

better than he has felt in a long time.

He is one tough cookie now.

Pneumonia?

For real? 

 We got home late for dinner (sorry Grandpa and Grandma)

but Daddy whipped up a huge meal in a matter of minutes...

And we had a nice evening

listening to very tired children fight...

over the three new toys they bought today.

Vacation days...

only 6 more to go!
