I am seriously struggling with "blogger" tonite. I couldn't get any photos or video to post from my new IPAD which I totally LOVE - but now I think it might have been a blogger thing. And our home computer is in pieces because we have everything torn up to lay our wood floor (that we have had in our garage for a year)...and blogger is was not even working from my work laptop. (but now it is!!)
I haven't gotten my camera out all weekend. We had Korby with us Friday and Saturday night...tore up all our carpeting in the dining room, prepared the floor for our new flooring, textured the ceiling, made and enjoyed a fun Friday night dinner with friends, sang in choir, went to a soccer game (Ayden played GREAT!), and now are sitting down for the first time in days!
Alec entertained us tonite dressed in his superman costume - you all would recognize him as "pooperman" and he would definitely be coming to your rescue! This guy makes us laugh daily...he has a very funny sense of humor. His upper belly has really bothered him this weekend - so I will be pursuing a new medication and maybe an ultrasound tomorrow Poor guy - it really cramps his style and no one can seem to figure out what it exactly is. MRI is trying to be scheduled to rule out any NF1 activity - but we have to get a cardiology consult before the anesthesiologist will approve the anesthesia. Hopefully tomorrow we can get that squared away too.
Ava will be sporting some new glasses soon ( well as soon as we can get her in to try some on) to see if that might help her one eye from drifting...or we will be scheduling surgery in February. Her eye sight is actually quite good - it is that exotropia that is still causing some problems. She adores dance class and starts asking when it is again - the day after we just went!
We have our first parent teacher conference this week for Mr. Ayden - I feel like he is doing great - hopefully his teacher feels the same! He really really enjoys the structure of school....and seems to be doing excellent. He has matured SO much these past 6 months - it is so wonderful. He is also a natural soccer player...so fun to watch him in action. He is crazy fast.
Korbyn is talking up a storm - and is definitely a 2 year old! She loves her Lala, Lalec and Layden SO much. It is wonderful that they go to the same daycare - they hug each other every morning - so cute. She is a loving and happy girl (most of the time) and we thoroughly enjoy her time with us.
Well - time to check the Cardiinals baseball game and hit the sack!
Kim
